Sanctuary Ministries is a nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing the love of Christ through practical and sustainable ministry. We partner with trusted local leaders in multiple countries in Africa to meet physical, financial, and spiritual needs of impoverished communities.
Today, Sanctuary Ministries serves in Burundi and Ghana, with a vision to expand into neighboring countries as God opens new doors and provides financially.
For nearly two decades, God has continued opening doors for Daniel and Joy throughout Africa. Daniel first began ministering there in 2008, led by the Spirit to build relationships with local pastors and communities. Those connections eventually led to one extraordinary opportunity that became Hannah House in Burundi.
Through dedication to continually support Hannah House, the Lord has provided opportunities to serve and support communities in need in Ghana as well. With your help, we can expand this outreach across the continent.

Hannah’s House
Hannah House is an orphanage in Burundi, Africa that houses orphaned children, providing them a safe place to learn and grow.
The funding you provide will accomplish that as well as ensure a well-resourced staff is present to care for these children. As the ministry invests in the children and staff, we believe there will be a legacy of hope and family—a sanctuary.
How we got involved.
In 2017, we met Pastor Jean-Bosco and his wife Virginia. We were compelled by Virginia’s testimony and dream of caring for orphans. We knew God was leading us to help. Over the years, we have purchased a permanent location for Hannah House and grown to accommodate 26 children. Daniel visits annually to minister to the children and support the staff.
